Hello Everyone,

We have had a great first week starting to make our Christmas crafts. We have finished creating our 12 days of Christmas decorations for the Christmas tree at the church so please make sure you pop in if you are passing the St George’s church. We also managed to create our Christmas cards and we are very pleased with the end results. We have also had fun feeding the animals and seeing how much they like to eat and what kinds of fresh food they like. We have been making predictions about this.
This week we are going to be creating our calendars which will be great. We will also continue with our Christmas decorations to take home for our own tree’s.  We will learn some lovely songs and hopefully they will sing them to you at home over the Christmas period.

Colour

Hello Everyone,

Hello everyone,

We had a very busy week learning names of new colours and doing some experimenting with them. The number hunt was enjoyed by everyone, it was lovely to start seeing the children working together to solve simple tasks. We also had a look around at what colours we could see in the outside environment. The chickens are quite hard to describe as they are a range of colours. We started our PE time where we will continue this week to follow simple instructions as a group.
This week we will be continuing with our colour theme we will play colour bingo and start to talk about shapes. We will be making our pizza lunch on Tuesday and will describe all the colour and shapes we can see while making and cutting the pizzas up.
