Hello everyone....

Year 1

Hello Everyone, 

We children have enjoyed the week of ‘Peace at Last’ They have had lots of fun exploring and making up their own ideas of what may happen in the story. The children have enjoyed dancing using the scarves this week. We played some small turn taking games and matching picture pairs. The children have good memory skills developing. 

This week we will be looking at the story of ‘Goldilocks and the Three Bears’ I am sure the children are going to enjoy this traditional tale. 

Healthy Movers

We will be  working on our balancing skills. The children have started to do some PE activities in the hall. They are developing confidence in using the equipment. We will be continuing with this on a weekly basis and alternate the days so everyone gets a chance to develop these skills. 

Please keep the ‘Wow’s’ coming in. We will put some into bags this week.The children are learning many new skills that need to be celebrated!  The photos so far have been great and the children love sharing these with the other children. Please feel free to send them to Zoe on the email address below. 

Home Learning

Can you see any flowers starting to grow?

Can you talk about your feelings?

Can you help to tidy up 5 things you have been playing with?

These tasks are always optional but are great to see the progression of your child's skills and knowledge building. 

Notices:-

We break up for Half Term this coming Friday 14th February and return back to school on Tuesday 25th February. We wish you all a very Happy Half Term Holiday.

It was great to catch up with you at parents evening. If you havn’t been and would like to arrange this then please just let Zoe know.

We hope you all have a great half term and look forward to hearing all about it when the children return. We may be closed but if you need us Zoe does check the emails on a regular basis so just send  a message.

Hello Everyone, 

We children have enjoyed the week of ‘Peace at Last’ There have been lots of conversations about where they like to sleep and what it would be like to sleep in various rooms in the house! We will continue with this theme this week and have lots of fun games and activities planned. 

Healthy Movers

We will be  moving to different types of music and seeing if they help us to move fast or slow. Also how the music makes us feel.

On Wednesday we have our story time session for our families to come and join us for a story and sing song. Please come along at 3.10pm to the classroom door and a member of staff will let you in. Look forward to seeing you there.

On Friday it is wear a scarf day. Children welcome to come to preschool wearing their scarves.

Powsa Events:-

On Wednesday evening at 7.30pm in the Main school staff room POWSA have got their monthly meeting. Everyone Welcome.
