Year 1

Hello Everyone, 

We had a lovely week exploring Fireworks, we looked at colours, shapes and mixing colours. We also loved listening to firework displays and pretending that we were the Fireworks! It has been lovely to see how much the children are playing alongside each other and have great listening skills and ideas. 

This week we will be exploring ‘The Gruffalo’  and we have lots of great activities planned. 

Healthy Movers

We will be  exploring all different types of music and how they make us express ourselves when we hear them. 

We will also do some material dancing to music and instructions. 

If you can continue to help your child to put on their own shoes this is a really useful skill to have. Also putting on their own coats. This really helps them to learn this valuable skill. 

Notices

We are a NUT FREE SCHOOL, so please can we remind our families that the children have no products containing nuts in their lunchbox.

Please remember the classroom door opens at 8.55

We have a stay and learn session on Tuesday 19th November 9.00-9.20am. Look forward to seeing you there.

On Saturday 23rd November we have our stay and play session from 10-11.30. Older and younger siblings very welcome. Hope to see you there.
