Year 1

Hello Everyone, 

The children have loved ‘The Hungry Caterpillar’ . We have been noticing lots of detail in the story and remembering all the food that was eaten. We played some colour matching games and looked for bugs out in the garden. We will continue with this focus this week and we will be watching to see when our Caterpillars hatch. 

Healthy Movers

We will continue with this  healthy movers activity that is all about brushing teeth! There is a circle song about brushing teeth and moving around in the circle. We will let you know how the song goes!

Please keep the ‘Wow’s’ coming in. We will put some into bags this week.The children are learning many new skills that need to be celebrated!  

Home Learning

Can you pair up the socks from the washing?

Can you say 3 facts about yourself?

These tasks are always optional but are great to see the progression of your child's skills and knowledge building. 

Notices 

Stay and play is on Saturday morning this week from 10.00-11.30am. We look forward to seeing you there. Everyone welcome.

On Wednesday afternoon at 3.10pm with have our story time. Everyone welcome.

On Friday it is Red Nose Day. Children welcome to wear something Red. A suggested donation of £1.00.

We are a NUT FREE SCHOOL, so please can we remind our families that the children have no products containing nuts in their lunchbox.
