Year 1

Hello Everyone, 

We have had a great first week back together. The children have enjoyed planting some Sunflowers.  We did some self portraits while looking at our pictures. We also did some invisible pictures using wax and water paint.

The children have enjoyed group times and have been doing some great listening. Throughout the week we also went to softplay and the sensory room. 

This week we will continue with our Spring theme, celebrating world book day on Thursday. Please feel free to bring in your child’s favourite story.

 We have lots of fun activities planned and I am sure the children are going to enjoy themselves this week. 

Healthy Movers

We will be practising our balancing skills this week and have lots of different skills to try out!

Please keep the ‘Wow’s’ coming in. The children are learning many new skills that need to be celebrated!

If you can continue to help your child to put on their own shoes this is a really useful skill to have. Also putting on their own coats. This really helps them to learn this valuable skill.

We have got Mystery reader session w/o 2/3. If you would like to come in and read a stroy to children on one of these days please let me know. The time for this will be 3.10pm.

On Thursday, children are invited to come dressed as their favourite book character 📚✨

We are a NUT FREE SCHOOL, so please can we remind our families that the children have no products containing nuts in their lunchbox.
