Year 1
Hello Everyone,
We have had a great week of learning together. The children have learnt many facts about senses and this is something we would like to visit later in the year. The children liked the feely box activity and made some great guesses about what they may be feeling. The mark making area has been very popular and the children have enjoyed creating by mixing and cutting things up.
This week we will be learning all about insects and bugs and have lots of fun activities planned. We think the children will really enjoy this.

Healthy Movers
This week we will be continuing playing birds on the wire. This is a great activity for coordination and balance.
Please keep the ‘Wow’s’ coming in. The children are learning many new skills that need to be celebrated!
Home Learning
Are you able to identify two different insects?
If you can continue to help your child to put on their own shoes this is a really useful skill to have.
Please remember the classroom door opens at 8.55. Please apply your child’s suncream before they arrive in the morning and tick the chart by the door.

We are a NUT FREE SCHOOL, so please can we remind our families that the children have no products containing nuts in their lunchbox.
