Hello everyone....

 

Year 1

Hello Everyone, 

The children have been great during another hot week!

They loved playing with the water tray and did some great group table top games together. This helped them to practice turn taking and listening to others.

We also listened to some different forms of music and played with our favourite toys.

The next two days will be spent enjoying our final days in the year 1 class.

You should feel very proud as the children have come far and it’s been a pleasure to watch them grow in confidence.

We hope you all have a lovely summer break and look forward to seeing you all when you return.

Healthy Movers - This week we will be playing and dancing with musical instruments.

How many numbers can you recognise on your way to school?

Can you put on your own shoes in the mornings?

 

Please remember the classroom door opens at 8.55. Please apply your child’s suncream before they arrive in the morning and tick the chart by the door.

We break up for the summer holidays on Tuesday at 3.30pm and return back to preschool on Thursday 3rd September. Don’t forget your child’s Stay and Play session on Wednesday 2nd September. Also please see email regarding the major building works in preschool over the summer holidays.

We are a NUT FREE SCHOOL, so please can we remind our families that the children have no products containing nuts in their lunchbox.

Hello everyone...

 

Year 1

Hello Everyone, 

The children have had a great week and they have really enjoyed the sporting activities. They loved bike riding and amazed us with their laps round the track. Even when it was not their day they were cheering each other on from the window which was lovely to see. They have also enjoyed practicing their ball skills and loved taking shots at the basketball. 

This week we are continuing with this sporting theme.. I am sure the children are going to enjoy this. 

Thank you all so much for the great Wow’s that have come in so far.They have loved sharing these at group times. We have also been looking back over photos which has been great for the children to recall.

We have lots of fun things planned this week and look forward to sharing these experiences with the children.
