Year 1
Hello Everyone,
We had a great first week back. The children have loved seeing each other and playing and learning together. We have played some group games and role play and the small world has been a great interest. They are really starting to add some narrative to their play.
This week we will have a book focused on ‘ Whatever Next’ . This is a lovely story and we have lots of fun things planned.
Healthy Movers
We will be working together using our scarves to all different types of music this week. We will also talk about how the music makes us feel. We will also follow the leader which is a great confidence booster.
Please keep the ‘Wow’s’ coming in. We will put some into bags this week.The children are learning many new skills that need to be celebrated! The photos so far have been great and the children love sharing these with the other children. Please feel free to send them to Zoe on the email address below.
Home Learning
Can you help to pair up the socks?
Can you lay the cutlery on the table for dinner?
Can you count a particular colour car on your way to school?
These tasks are always optional but are great to see the progression of your child's skills and knowledge building.
The children are getting much more skills with their shoes and coats so please continue with this at home.This really helps them to learn these valuable skills.

We are a NUT FREE SCHOOL, so please can we remind our families that the children have no products containing nuts in their lunchbox.
Powsa Events:-
POWSA has it's AGM this coming Wednesday (15th Janaury) at 7.30pm in the main school staff room. Please do come along, everyone welcome. If you would like more information please come and speak to Julia.
