Year 1
Hello Everyone,
We have had a lovely week of learning together. The children have enjoyed exploring all the different colours of spring. We have completed some flower crafting pictures which look lovely on the wall display. We did some colour matching, exploring the instruments and doing some great challenges together. We also did some large scale drawing on the floor which was great fun.
The children really loved world book day and enjoyed sharing their favourite stories at group time with their friends.
The children have enjoyed group times and have been doing some great listening.
Some photos of the week...
This week we will continue with our ‘Spring’ theme, and we will be making some special gifts for the weekend! We have lots of fun things planned and we can’t wait for a great week together.
Healthy Movers
We will be continuing practising our balancing skills this week and have lots of different skills to try out!
Please keep the ‘Wow’s’ coming in. The children are learning many new skills that need to be celebrated!
If you can continue to help your child to put on their own shoes this is a really useful skill to have. Also putting on their own coats. This really helps them to learn this valuable skill.
Please remember the classroom door opens at 8.55
Story time is on Thursday at 3.10pm. Everyone welcome.

On Saturday 21st March it is POWSA Easter Bingo from 4pm in the main school hall.
We are a NUT FREE SCHOOL, so please can we remind our families that the children have no products containing nuts in their lunchbox.
Looking forward to a great week together.
