Hello everyone...

Year 1

Hello Everyone,

We have had lots of great learning this week.

We have enjoyed practising our dancing for our party this week.

The children have been playing lots of guessing games this week too. This has really got them thinking about how to describe things.

This week we have some cooking to do and we will be playing lots of Christmas games. We are very much looking forward to the party on Thursday. Please remember to bring your wrapped up party lunch creations!

Sunday 3 December 2023

Hello everyone....

Year 1

Hello Everyone,

We have had lots of fun exploring the Christmas areas that have been created. The children have loved having their own tree to decorate!

The children have also enjoyed creating paper cains for the classrooms.

We have started to play some games in preparation for the Christmas party.

The children have really loved making their Christmas decorations and crafts.

This week we will be continuing with the Christmas theme and making some tasty treats.

Healthy Movers

Each week to enhance our curriculum we will be planning a Healthy Movers activity with the children. This is to develop the whole child through fun physical activities in the early years. This week we will be playing Wiggle, weave and watch. This supports coordination and object control.

Home Learning

  • Spot how many Christmas trees you can see on your way to Preschool.

  • How many days left till Christmas, each day.
