Hello everyone...

Year 1

Hello Everyone,

We had a great fun filled week of learning .

The children have been very creative and have learnt lots of new skills.

On Monday we made pigs from paper plates.

On Tuesday we had great fun conquer rolling and making lots of predictions. We made our own mat and added numbers so we could see which number it went closest to. The children did some great counting and predicting.

On Wednesday we made leafs from hand painting which was lots of fun. In the afternoon the children asked to do the conquer game again.

On Thursday we did vegetable printing in the morning. In the afternoon we did some drawing from under the tables. This was great and we had the paper attached to the underside of the table. This helped the children to use muscles they would not normally have to. The children also had to think about how they would pick the crayons up while laying on their backs! The children also played with vegetables in the shaving foam.

On Friday we made leaf trees. The tree stumps were made from tubes and then we decorated leafs to stick onto the piece of paper. The children really enjoyed this. In the afternoon we joined year 2 and played games in the hall and enjoyed basketball with coach Lucca.

This week we will continue exploring Autumn and we have lots of fun things planned.

Now the weather is starting to change please can you be sure to bring a coat. We love to get outside even if there is a little bit of rain. Wellies are also helpful, we do have some spare pairs.
