Hello everyone.....

Year 1

Hello Everyone,

We have had lots of great learning this week.

On Monday we created the puppet story of the Three Bears. The children loved this and soon took it in turns to be a puppet. On Tuesday we created different texture pictures. The children used lots of different colours and really enjoyed creating using the cellophane. On Wednesday we modelled role play with the children in the house. This brought out a lot of different themes and made the children think about lots of things.  On Thursday we did lots of physical play and group games and dancing. Some of the children preferred to observe and not join in just yet.

On Friday Morning we played number matching together to build up our vocabulary skills. In the afternoon we played with Pre-School year 2.

This week we are going to be exploring Room on the Broom. We have some great things planned and this will be a good opportunity to recap phrases from a story and join in with them.

Healthy Movers

Each week to enhance our curriculum we will be planning a Healthy Movers activity with the children. This is to develop the whole child through fun physical activities in the early years. This week we will be playing What ever the weather which explores stability and balance.

Home Learning

  • Can you count how many windows are in your house?

  • How many Pets do you have?
