Hello everyone.....

Year 1

Hello Everyone,

We have had lots of fun this week and have learnt lots of new skills.

On Monday we listened to the story of Room on the Broom. The children loved this and soon came up with things they would like to make and learn about. On Tuesday we created witch style pictures. The children used lots of different colours and really enjoyed creating these and focused on shapes. On Wednesday we modelled role play with the children in the house.  On Thursday we did lots of physical play and group games and dancing. Some of the children preferred to observe and not join in just yet.made spells in the texture tray using spaghetti and various other items the children wanted to add.

On Friday Morning we played a shape game together to build up our  skills. In the afternoon we played with Pre-School year 2.

This week we are starting our Christmas crafts and creations. We have some great things planned and the children will also be adding to our ideas of what they may like to make.

Healthy Movers

Each week to enhance our curriculum we will be planning a Healthy Movers activity with the children. This is to develop the whole child through fun physical activities in the early years. This week we will be continuing to play Whatever the weather which explores stability and balance.
