Hello everyone.....

Hello Everyone,

The children had a really fun week.  We played lots of counting and did lots of counting in the outside environment. They also played in the role play area where they went shopping and used the purses and some real coins.

At group times the children loved the ‘instruments’ and we played follow the leader and took it in turns to play a tune for everyone to copy.

Over the weekend the Pre-School has been decorated and we can’t wait to see how the children enjoy all the surprises we have in store.

We will be starting our Christmas activities and have many fun things planned for the children.

Please continue to bring in your

lovely Wow’s so we can see what amazing achievements you have had at home.

Can you talk about colours when you are out and about. Playing colour spotting is a great way of seeing how many different colours your child can recognise.

Hello everyone...

Hello Everyone,

The children have had a great week. They have been exploring the garden area and trying out many new challenges which is great to see.

We have done some mixing colour activities and made simple predictions about what may happen.

At group times the children have loved the ‘Tappy sticks’ and have followed instructions well such as loud, soft, start and stop. We also had a turn at being the leader with this activity.

This week we will be doing some counting activities and developing these skills further. We have lots of fun things planned and I’m sure the children are going to enjoy it.

Next weekend we will be transforming the Pre-School into Christmas for the children which I’m sure they are going to love!

Please continue to bring in your

lovely Wow’s so we can see what amazing achievements you have had at home.

When you are out and about this week can your child recognise any numbers in the environment such as: door numbers, numbers on postboxes, car registrations, prices of items in a shop. If you have any cash it's great to show your children and get them interested in counting coins and looking at them. Numbers are all around us and we like to make it as fun as possible!

We are looking forward to a great week together. Looking forward to seeing you all tomorrow.

Sunday 7 November 2021

Hello everyone....

Hello Everyone,

We  hope that you all enjoyed your weekend and enjoyed some fireworks with your family. This week the children enjoyed making Firework pictures, making bonfires in the texture tray. The highlight of the week was the bonfire snack up at the round houses with singing, exploring, eating hotdogs and toasting marshmallows. This was really great to see.

This week we will be looking at colours and shapes and doing some Maths investigations. We have lots of fun things planned and I’m sure the children are going to enjoy it.
