Hello everyone....

Hello Everyone,

We  hope that you all enjoyed your weekend and enjoyed some fireworks with your family. This week the children enjoyed making Firework pictures, making bonfires in the texture tray. The highlight of the week was the bonfire snack up at the round houses with singing, exploring, eating hotdogs and toasting marshmallows. This was really great to see.

This week we will be looking at colours and shapes and doing some Maths investigations. We have lots of fun things planned and I’m sure the children are going to enjoy it.

On Friday it is Children in Need day and children are welcome to wear something spotty or sporty. A suggested donation of £1 per a child can be bought in on the day.

If you would like your child to have a Christmas Dinner on Wednesday 15th December and they don't normally have a hot lunch, please email Caroline @ preschool@princeofwales.dorset.sch.uk for a code to login to the Local food links page. Please see letter for more details.

You can order your child's Christmas cards they have made at https://www.myschoolart.co.uk

This has been kindly organised by POWSA as a fundraising event.

Please find information below about a useful advice line for parents and carers of 0-5years.

ParentLine is a new confidential text messaging service for parents and carers of 0-5 year olds in Dorset to seek advice via text message from our Health Visiting team about their child’s health.

Parents and carers can seek advice about a range of issues such as breastfeeding, bottle feeding, weaning, sleep, toileting, minor illness, behaviour, parenting and more.

ParentLine will run 9am - 5pm, Monday to Friday (excluding weekends and bank holidays) with a ParentLine Practitioner responding to messages within one working day. If a text is sent outside these hours the parent/carer will receive an automated message with advice on where to get help if they require it urgently. This new messaging service is being provided in addition to the current Health Visiting service offer.
Text 07312 277162 for confidential advice and support from a member of the Health Visiting team
ParentLine is not an emergency service, for urgent medical attention contact your GP, 111 or 999.

It was great to catch up with you all at parent’s evening and nice for you to see inside the classrooms again.

We are looking forward to a fun week together. We have some new friends joining us this week.

Looking forward to seeing you all tomorrow.

Zoe and Chloe
