Hello everyone....

Year 1

Hello Everyone,

We had lots of fun talking about sun safety and what we need to do to keep ourselves safe when the weather is warm.

This week we thought it would be good to do some travelling and we will be going to France! We have lots of fun activities planned for this.

We will also be doing some food tasting!

Healthy Movers

This week we will all participate in some Sticky Kids songs. These are really fun and are all about healthy bodies.

Please remember the classroom door opens at 8.55, unless it is a stay and play morning.  Door drop off for everyone now as we are preparing the children for PreSchool year 2.

Home Learning

  • Can you count to 5, some items in your house?

  • Can you put on your own clothes ?The children are making great progress with this skill.

If you have not yet returned your sunscreen permission slip, this would also be very helpful. It would be great if you could apply sunscreen to your children before you dress in the morning. We will then reapply the suncream for the afternoon. When the weather is nice we will always have the suncream out on a table so you can pop some on while you wait for the door to open. Thank you for applying the sun creams in the morning, it is really helpful and means we can spend maximum time with the children engaging their learning.

Please try to leave all home toys at home or in your child’s bag as we struggle to find them if they get lost!

This week stay and play is on Wednesday 3rd July at 8.30-9.00am

If you have any further questions you can email Zoe on the following email.
