Colour and shape

Hello Everyone,

We had a great time talking about Water and the children had a very good understand of the household appliances that need water to work.
We also hope you all had a great Fathers Day and the children enjoyed giving their gifts to the special figures in their lives.
This week we are going to be re visiting shapes and colour. We will be learning about other colours other than just the primary ones. We will create colours, mix colours and build on our descriptive language skills.

Jennie Jigsaw
This week we will be talking about Friendships and what a good friend is. This includes making relationships, managing feelings and behaviours.
We will make a brain storm of this and create pictures.

Letters and Sounds
This week we will be playing ‘Teddy lost in the room’ which is a listening game to see if you can hear where the Teddy is in the room.. It also encourages descriptive language such as: high, low, loud, soft. During the week we will also use the musical instruments.

Home Learning
Please continue to share any Wow’s with us. If your child would like to bring anything in for talk times them please do. We have started sharing news and giving praise as a group.
