Egypt

Hello Everyone,

We all had a great time travelling to France on the Bus. We loved trying all the food and I think it was fair to say croissants and jam were the favourite. The children enjoyed constructing the Eiffel tower out of straws and also making various construction models with the blocks and tubes.

This week we start the week on Monday with a focus on NSPCC ‘PantS Day’ We will meet Pantosaurus who teaches us how to stay safe and we will sing along to the Pantosaurus song. From Tuesday we will be travelling to Egypt where we will be looking at the culture, cooking and exploring all the ancient things the country has.
We will be playing with moon sand to make pyramids, making salt dough with mark making and toilet roll spinx.

Jennie Jigsaw
This week we will continue with our feelings focus, friendships. The new friends are really enjoying their time with us.
We will play the instruments and see if we can follow the leader with all the children having a turn at being the leader.
We will also be listening to some Egyption dancing with ribbons and shakers, getting a taste of the culture the country has to offer.

Letters and Sounds
This week we will be playing ‘Describe the friend’ this is a great guessing game. The children have to guess who is being described by a set of clues.
