Christmas

Hello  Everyone,

Hope you've all had a fun weekend? The children enjoyed ‘Room on the Broom’ They loved making spells and mixing fruit in the water tray. They loved making wands and this led to lots of colour discussions and noticing patterns.

The children loved making the sleigh for the role play area and have been  decorating the tree.

This week we will be starting our Christmas craft activities. We have lots of fun crafts planned as well as cooking over the coming weeks.

We have an advent book collection. The children take it in turns to pick a wrapped book which will be a christmas story. This is the book we read at group time.

We also plan to have a puppet show with Christmas characters.

Moon, Silhouette, Santa Claus, Reindeers, Santa, Claus

Letters and Sounds

we will continue to  play ‘Teddy lost in the room’ this listening game, you have to hide the teddy while one person is outside the room. One child then pays the tamarind really loud if they are getting close or quiet if they are a long way from where they  are hidden.
