Hello  Everyone,

We hope you have all had a nice week and made the most of your time together. Hopefully you managed to get some fresh air and a little change of scene. It has been lovely to see all the photos you have emailed in to us. Please keep these coming in as it’s nice to see the children enjoying themselves.

At PreSchool this week the children showed such a great interest in the science theme they will be continuing with this. The story focus will be ‘Aliens love underpants’

Chloe and Colleen have lots of fun activities planned which I am sure the children will enjoy. These include : Moon Crafting, Alien faces with the playdough, Asteroid throwing and searching for stars.

Below is the link for the interactive story if you would like to look at it while you are at home.

We will continue to support you while your child is at home. Zoe will continue to contact you on a Monday morning to see if you have everything you need. Please let her know if you need anything. Home learning packs will be created on a weekly basis and distributed out. I’m sure you will find these useful when you are looking for some time to fill. This week the weather is meant to be a little wet. Maybe time to embrace the rain and head out for an adventure?!

Ideas of things you may like to try at home:-

Everyday Mr Spracklen has Good morning POW at 9.30, 11.20 virtual assembly and 4.00pm Evening POW. This can be accessed on Facebook and you tube and is a great way of seeing what everyone is up to. It's really interactive and guarantee to make you smile.

Measuring rain - put containers out and see how much rain falls  you can catch in a day in a day.

Finger gym - Use a hole punch to make holes in the card. You can then use this as a lacing card with some string or wool.

Wrap up warm and go puddle jumping, come home get changed and dry and have a nice warm drink.

Shaving foam play - put out some shaving foam on an old tray. Use plastic pots and tubs with spoons, scoops and cake cases to create.

Challenge your child’s finger gym by adding a pair of tongs with the block play to see how many bricks they can pick up.
