Hello everyone...

What's on in May 2018 - The Rowley Estates

Hello  Everyone,

This week we have had lots of fun learning experiences. The children really enjoyed baking their Flapjacks and did lots of predicting during this activity. The Bear masks were lots of fun and most of the group said that they were going to be a friendly Bear when wearing them.

We did some great number work with the compare bears and had to collect the correct number of bears for the corresponding number cards.

Outside this week the children have been doing lots of digging and looking for insects.

This week we will be focussing on ourselves and we have lots of fun activities planned for this. Paining, crafting and group working together tasks.

This week we will be continuing with the friendship theme and how we are feeling .

Letters and sounds

This week we will play with the musical instruments at group times, can the children work together and follow simple instructions that are given to them?!

Notices

As the weather is starting to warm, please could all children bring sun hats to school. We do have a box of spares if needed. Please  apply suncream to your child before school and tick your child's name off on the list which will be on the green table by the pre-school door. If you have ticked to supply your own suncream, please could you make sure either it is in their bags or a spare is kept at pre-school.

On the whiteboard outside the classroom door is a pocket with Home Wow slips in, please help yourself to these. We love celebrating the children's home WOW'S.

On Wednesday 5th May POWSA are having their monthly meeting at 7.30pm in the main school hall. If you would like any further information, please come and see Julia. Everyone welcome to come along. If you have any questions then please just ask.
