Year 1

Hello Everyone, 

We have had a great week and enjoyed meeting everyone that started this week. The children have been amazing and have really enjoyed spending time in their new environment. You may find that this week there could be a couple of ‘wobbles ‘about coming in but this is perfectly normal. Myself or Chloe will give you a call to update you on how your child is settling. 

We plan to spend this week playing some fun games together and will explore the surrounding areas of the school.

We will continue to get to know everyone and have lots of fun together. 

We will start to send some Marvellous Me’s this week. 

Home Learning 

Please would you bring in a couple of photos of people who are special to your child. We would like to make a little display so your child can always see some familiar faces while at Pre-School.

Notices 

On Wednesday evening at 7.30pm POWSA have got a meeting in the school hall. It is a great opportunity to support the pre-school/school and meet new friends. If you would like more information please come and ask.

Stay and play morning sessions are now posted next to our door on the window. It would be great to see you but understand if you would like to leave it a few weeks while your child settles in with us. 

 

If you have any questions then please just let us know and we can go through these with you. If you have any administration questions Caroline is in the office every morning so please go round to the front of the building and ring the doorbell and she will be able to help you. 

We will always ensure any letters are put in your child’s bag so please always have a look for any post. 

If you have ordered a   hot lunch please remind us on your first morning.  

If someone else is going to collect your child then please ensure you have completed the permission form for this and let us know so we can look out for them. This person will always be asked to sign your child out on their first time of collection. 

If you could provide us with a clearly marked water bottle that we can keep at preschool all year. This way we can ensure the children have access to fresh drinking water throughout the days with us. We find the children drink more from their own bottles.
