Year 1
Hello Everyone,
The children have had a great week and have really enjoyed creating for the Christmas bags. We continued to play some party games so we are ready for the Christmas party.
This week, we will be continuing with Christmas and we can’t wait! We have many different fun things planned. We’re looking forward to another fantastic week full of learning and fun! The children are really looking forward to the party.
Healthy Movers
This week we will continue doing some sticky songs and we are sure the children are going to love them. We will also be singing some Christmas songs with musical instruments.
Notices
As the weather begins to change, please remember to send a warm coat each day so we can keep enjoying outdoor activities whenever possible.
We also encourage you to continue helping your child practice putting on their own shoes and coat — it’s a wonderful way to build independence and confidence. Please can you return any home learning bags you may have at home.
Please also remember that the classroom door opens at 8:55 a.m., unless it is a Stay and Play morning. The Stay and Play dates are displayed next to the entrance door. This week it is Story time at 3.10pm. Everyone is welcome.
We hope you all have a lovely Christmas and enjoy spending time with your friends and family. We break up for Christmas on Friday 19th December and return back to preschool on Monday 5th January.
Please try to leave all home toys/comfort objects in your child’s bag.
We can then keep track of what has come out so they don’t get lost.
If you have any further questions you can email Zoe on the following email. z.stockley@princeofwales.dorset.sch.uk
We are a NUT FREE SCHOOL, so please can we remind our families that the children have no products containing nuts in their lunchbox.
Looking forward to a great week together.
Zoe, Chloe and Lauren
