Hello Everyone,
We have had a great week and the children have loved learning all about different shapes. We went on a great shape hunt round the building which they all enjoyed. We played some memory games during group times and singing and action songs. We have also played in the softplay room and sensory room as it has been so wet outside.
This week we will be continuing to focus on shapes and reading the story of ‘The Little Red Hen.’ We have lots of fun activities planned to keep us busy and build our knowledge of shapes and colours.
Healthy Movers
We will be playing, moving in different ways and seeing how flexible we can be.
Please keep the ‘Wow’s’ coming in. The children are learning many new skills that need to be celebrated! I will put some more in the childrens bags this week.If you have any photos from the last couple of weeks please feel free to send them to Zoe on the email address below. The children love to recognise them on the big screen during group times.
Home Learning
Can you identify and square shapes on the way to preschool?
Can you count how many different shapes you have seen in your house?
If you can continue to help your child to put on their own shoes this is a really useful skill to have. Also putting on their own coats. This really helps them to learn this valuable skill.
