Hello everyone...

Year 1

Hello Everyone,

We have had a lovely week together. We have been looking at shapes and patterns and all the colours around us.

We enjoyed listening to music and doing some moves to the different rhythms in the songs.

This week we will be looking at the magical changes that are happening in the world around us. Looking at leaves and the developing colours from deep greens to fiery coppers and gold.

We have lots of great activities planned for the week.

Healthy Movers

This week we will be developing our agility and locomotion the activity is called ‘ Pop the Bubbles’ We will be moving in lots of different ways such as crawling, rolling, stepping, walking, jogging, leaping, marching, tiptoeing, stomping, sliding and scampering at different speeds and directions.

Notices:-

If you have returned your slip- please see photos sent via link in email.

On Wednesday we have story time from 3.10. Everyone welcome to come and join us.

If you could bring a spare change of clothes for your child this is always helpful. Please bring a drinking bottle that can be left at preschool for the whole year, clearly named. Please ensure they do not have a straw. These will be put through the dishwasher after every session.

You may find your child is very tired over the next few weeks while they are adjusting to all their new surroundings. This is normal. We do have a quiet down time after lunch.

Please remember the classroom door opens at 8.55.

Please try to leave all toys/comfort objects in your child’s bag. We can then keep track of what has come out so they don’t get lost.

We will be having a parents information session coming up soon when all the children for this term have joined the class.

If you have any further questions you can email Zoe on the following email.

We are a nut free school, so please can we remind families that the children have no products containing nuts in their lunchbox.

We are more than happy to cut up fruit at lunchtimes so it stays fresh.

Looking forward to seeing everyone this week and having lots of learning fun together

.
