Hello Everyone,

We had a great week making all of the display work for our banner about Africa.
The children also had fun making the ginger cake for the snack café in the hall.
The children made the recycling bin and have started to use it for odd scraps of paper they no longer need.
We read stories about animals and sung some songs and played the drumming instruments.
This week we will be talking about animal care as we are hoping to add a new addition to our chicken/Wildlife area towards the end of the week. Watch this space!

Letters and Sounds
We will be playing describe the animal this week. We will also be describing somebody in the room to see if the children can recognise that they are all different. Clapping out the rhythms of their names will be continued as they children are starting to recognise other children’s as well as their own which is good.

Jigsaw
This week we will be talking about animals and pets within our family settings.
If you could bring in ay photo’s this would be great to add to our Jigsaw display board.
This is to help reinforce Personal, Social and Emotional Development and help them to make life choices.

Home Learning
The Wow Board is looking great. If you can include any Wow’s about counting or noticing shapes in the environment this would be very helpful.

Notices

Please if you can cream up your child before you arrive, this would be a great help to us. Remember to make sure you are ticked off on the Sun Cream chart.

It was lovely to see some of you at Stay and Play on Friday This week Stay and Play will be on Wednesday 4th July from 8.30-9.00am. Everyone is very welcome including younger and older siblings. Hope to see lots of you there.

Every Friday at 3.30 POWSA are selling ice creams by the play trail. 50p each.

It was lovely to see so many of you at the school summer fair. We hope you had a fabulous time.

The next POWSA planning meeting is on Tuesday 17th July at 7.30pm.

We can’t wait for another fun weeks creating and learning together.

Looking forward to a lovely slightly cooler week!
