Hello Everyone,

We had a great fun making jelly fish out of paper items we found.
The children were very interested in how the jelly fish would feel.
We talked at group times about water safety and how we needed to stay safe.
Dance afternoon was great fun and thank you to all that came along and joined in with us. I was amazed that they all got up, in front of the whole school, no one got stage fright!
This week we will be talking about all types of sports, trying out some new team games, challenging our learning with obstacle course and having lots of fun.
We are also going to be doing some texture play and using some food items for this. The children have asked to explore different types of food on the texture table.
We will also paint with some items.

This week we will continue to be talking about Friendships and what a good friend is. This includes making relationships, managing feelings and behaviours.
We has some good discussions about having lots of friends not just a ‘Best Friends’
We will be playing lots of team games this week to show that everyone in a team has a part to play and allow the children to explore each of these roles.

Letters and Sounds
This week we will be playing ‘Teddy lost in the room’ which is a guessing game to see if you can find the Teddy from how the drum is being played. It also encourages descriptive language as we talk about different areas of the room. During the week we will also use the ‘Tappy sticks’.

Home Learning
Please continue to share any Wow’s with us. If your child would like to bring anything in for talk times then please do. We have started sharing news and giving praise as a group.

If you could apply sun cream to your child if it looks like it’s going to be warm before they arrive at Pre-School in the mornings this would be a great help to us.
