Teddy Bears

Hello Everyone,

We had fun playing with different foods in the texture tray. Some of the children would not touch any of these as they looked too messy!
We played throwing and catching with the beanbags and used the large crates and planks to make construction structures outside.
The outside painting was very well used this week and some children got rather messy clothes, sorry about this.
This week we are going to be having lots of fun activities. We will be focussing our activities on Bears to link in with our Teddy Bears picnic later in the week.
On Thursday we will have a water play session outside which should be great fun.

Jennie Jigsaw
This week we will be playing lots of team games this week to show that everyone in a team has a part to play and allow the children to explore each of these roles.

Letters and Sounds
This week we will be playing ‘What’s that noise’ which is a guessing game to see if you can listen and see what is being rattled. It also encourages descriptive language as we talk about what they can hear. During the week we will also use the Musical instruments.

Home Learning
We will continue to share news and giving praise as a group. This section of group time has become really popular and it’s been great to see the children building in confidence to speak out in front of the group.

Notices

Please remember to check your Child’s post pocket when you hang up coats in the mornings, all important post will be there.

If you could apply sun cream to your child if it looks like it’s going to be warm before they arrive at Pre-School in the mornings this would be a great help to us.

Please sign up to bring some food for the Teddy bears picnic on Wednesday 17th July, poster on the Pre-School door.

On Thursday we have got our water day. Please could all children come to school with sun cream applied. The children will need a swim costume, T-shirt, towel and water shoes. If you have a paddling pool and any water toys  we could borrow please let Zoe know. Children may bring in water pistols and squirters.

It was lovely to see some of you at Stay and Play on Wednesday. This week Stay and Play will be on Thursday 18th July  from 8.30-9.00am. Everyone is very welcome including younger and older siblings. Hope to see lots of you there.

  1. Julia, you should expect a delivery later this week for an item on your wish list, in great appreciation of our Granddaughter’s 2 wonderful years at pre-school.
