The very hungry caterpillar

Hello Everyone,

We had a great week we played lots of shape games as a group. The pizza making went really well and the children loved eating their individual pizzas. We  played some describe the shape games and the children started to understand the idea.
This week we will have a story focus of ‘The Hungry Caterpillar’ this will continue the describing language and colour work as there are some colours we have not yet covered. We will also be making some decorations for the Christmas Tree Festival at St Georges Church so watch this space.

Jennie Jigsaw
This week we will continue with our feelings focus, friendships and what we like and what makes us happy and sad.
We will play some games with the musical instruments to see if the children can follow some simple instructions. The children will also take it in turns to be the leader and give instructions.
We will continue to play ‘ Keeper of the key’s which is a guessing game of who has taken the keys. The children have loved this and find it really hard not to say who has the keys.

Letters and Sounds
This week we will be playing the ‘What’s in the box’. One person performs a noise or rattle from the box and we will see if anyone can identify the noise.

Home Learning
Please continue to bring in any Wow’s of any amazing achievements your child has made.
