China...

Hello Everyone,

This week has been amazing! The boat ride was very smooth and we were all allowed through customs to visit Spain.
We have been trying lots of different Spanish food, the children loved exploring the types of things they eat in the country.
We loved making the Spanish shakers and seeing what noises they could made. Later on in the week we made some boats out of junk and did some floating and sinking experiments. We also made some telescopes to look out for pirates on the role play boat.
This next week we are going much further away and flying to China and celebrating the ‘Chinese New Year’ We have lots of fun activities planned being very creative and having an insight into the Chinese way of celebrating. We look forward to seeing you all next week ready for checking into the Airport.

This week we will continue with our feelings focus, friendships. The new friends are really enjoying their time with us.
We will play ‘Teddy lost in the room’ and concentrate on playing loud and soft, depending on where the Teddy has been hidden. We play the drum loud when Ted is very close to where we are in the room. We will also be creating movements to Chinese music and creating our own Chinese music.

Letters and Sounds
This week we will be playing can we identify the sound behind a screen? I’m sure they will be able to identify the different instruments.

Home Learning
Please continue to bring in any Wow’s of any amazing moments. If you have any Countries which have links to your family please let as know as we are very keen to explore these in future weeks.
