We had a lovely week and produced lots of fun work together.
On Monday/Tuesday we made some great pasta necklaces. This involved lots of counting and looking at colour patterns. We made them mostly red and green so they could be the Hungry Caterpillar.
Tuesday/Wednesday we had great fun making or snack time fruit Kebabs with some of the fruits that the hungry Caterpillar ate. Thursday/Friday we had small group trips to see the animals and feed them.
We will be continuing with the Hungry Caterpillar this week along with some Easter activities.
Our delivery of the insect Lore Is arriving by Tuesday which I’m sure will cause lots of interest. We will also be exploring the interests of the children and extending their activities helping to build new knowledge.

This week we will be talking about the feelings of others and how to encourage this in our play. We will be modelling this to the children so they can see how it looks.
Letters and sounds
This week we will continue to play what is that sound? Can the children recognise a sound from inside a shoebox.This helps the children to develop their listening skills and thinking.
