Hello everyone...

Hello  Everyone,

We had a great week and the children loved looking and thinking about different forms of transport. They enjoyed making hot air balloons for the bears, playing with the cars in the foam. We talked about our favourite form of transport and talked about how to stay safe when we are out and about. We also discussed which form of transport would go the quickest.

This week we will be moving to the theme of ‘The Beach’ . We have lots of fun things planned and will be talking about water safety and how to stay safe when we are at the Beach.

Jennie Jigsaw

This week we will have news time in the group and we can only share our news with the group when we are holding Jenny. This gives the children a good sense of turn taking and waiting to develop these skills.

The children are really starting to show good interest in each other which is lovely to observe in the group.

Letters and sounds

We will  play with the ‘Tappy sticks’ and can the children follow simple instructions. The children are loving these games and it really gets them thinking about the sounds they know.

Notices-

If you have any questions then please just ask. The weather is looking great so sunscreen before arrival really helps us out. Just look for the laminated list and tick off your child’s name. Obviously if you are running late we can help you with this.

MONDAY - Win or lose, we will be having an #InspiredToLearn Breakfast Street Party at the front of school. Families are welcome on site from 6:45am to enjoy a free breakfast bap and to reflect on the night before. There is a chance (win or lose) that a film crew from Good Morning Britain will be joining us to capture the moment and share our thoughts with the nation.

ALSO ON MONDAY - We will be closing our morning register at the later time of 11:00am. This is to support any little England fans that need more time in bed!
