Hello everyone.....

Year 1

Hello Everyone,

We hope you have had a lovely half term and have enjoyed the dry weather and got out and about.

Please email in any photos of the adventures you have had while we have been off. We would love to share these at group times throughout the week.

This week we are going to talk and do activities relating to being healthy. We have lots of fun things planned.

Healthy Movers

This week we are going to do the activity ‘Whatever The Weather’

This is all about stability and balance. The skills are standing, lying, sitting, stopping, landing, balancing, twisting, lunging, bending, stretching and turning.

Please remember the classroom door opens at 8.50, unless it is a stay and play morning.

Where possible can we please work towards dropping your children off at the classroom door. This is to make preparations to move to preschool year 2. This is to promote independence and readiness for the coming year.

We are really looking forward to seeing everyone this week.

Home Learning

  • How many jumps can you do?

  • Can you put on your own shoes/coat?The children are making great progress with this skill.

We will be starting to send out some challenges for you to help your child to complete at home. Feedback can be sent back using a ‘WOW’ The Challenges will help your child to develop to the next level in their learning and skills.

If you have not yet returned your sunscreen permission slip, this would also be very helpful. We are hoping for some sunny weather soon!

Please try to leave all home toys at home or in your child’s bag as we struggle to find them if they get lost!

If you have any further questions you can email Zoe on the following email.

We are a NUT FREE SCHOOL, so please can we remind our families that the children have no products containing nuts in their lunchbox.
