Year 1
Hello Everyone,
The children have had a lovely week. They have done some planting and making predictions. They have made the most of the soft play as the weather has been wet. They enjoyed practicing some counting and sorting with the compare bears. Role play has also been very popular and they have been shopping and cooking the products they have brought from the shop.
The story of the week was ‘Jasper's Beanstalk’ which all the children loved.
This week we will be enjoying lots of activities together and will do some number work and counting.
Healthy Movers
We will be continuing playing with the balls and the bean bags this week to develop our throwing and catching skills.
Please keep the ‘Wow’s’ coming in. We will put some into bags this week. The children are learning many new skills that need to be celebrated!
Home Learning
Can your child pull up their own pants and trousers when they have finished in the toilet? The children are really developing in this area so thank you for your support with this skill.
Can your child put on their own shoes?
Is your child able to help with dressing in the mornings?
These tasks are always optional but are great to see the progression of your child's skills and knowledge building.
