Hello everyone....

 

Hello Everyone, 

We have had a very fun week with lots of learning along the way. We have been very creative and have been trying different types of painting. We covered the tables with foil and then made marks using various tools and paint. We then pressed the paper over the top to form our paintings. 

The children also enjoyed painting under the tables as this is great for developing core and arm muscle movements. 

During the week we experimented with our new stretchy band which is great for group times and singing action songs. The children have loved it!

The children made shape biscuits which they enjoyed as a special treat for snacktime. We have made the most of our lovely indoor spaces when it has been wet. The children have enjoyed the soft play room and the sensory room.

The children have been taking very well while completing small group tasks which has been great to see. 

This week we will be learning and talking about different emotions. We have lots of fun activities planned to keep us busy and build our knowledge of how we are feeling.

Healthy Movers

We will be  continuing to move in different ways and seeing how flexible we can be. 

Please keep the ‘Wow’s’ coming in. The children are learning many new skills that need to be celebrated!  I will put some more in the childrens bags this week.If you have any photos from the last couple of weeks please feel free to send them to Zoe on the email address below. The children love to recognise them on the big screen during group times.

Can you express how you are feeling?

If you can continue to help your child to put on their own shoes this is a really useful skill to have. Also putting on their own coats. This really helps them to learn this valuable skill.

On Tuesday between 8.30-9.00am we have Stay and Play. Everyone welcome.

On Wednesday afternoon at 3.10pm we have story time. Everyone welcome.

We are a NUT FREE SCHOOL, so please can we remind our families that the children have no products containing nuts in their lunchbox.
