Rainbows

This week is all about looking and identifying  the colours we see in rainbows.

All the children will be making their own rainbows doing sticking and colouring in activities.

We'll be discussing when you might see a rainbow using a lovely book, What Makes A Rainbow by Betty Schwartz, as a visual guide, it includes real different coloured ribbons on each page to make a perfect rainbow.

As always we'll be recording your children's comments or recollections of rainbows, which you can do too on a wow slip.

Other activities will include colour matching and sorting games, in addition to fun games such as finding certain coloured items all around the room.

Just a reminder to please feel free to look through your child's learning journeys to see what they've been up to. We can always free up a room for you to sit and look at them in quiet!
As our newer children reach the end of their first four weeks with us, I'll be arranging dates to look through your child's learning journey with you and discuss their progress, Thank-You,
