Welcome Everyone,

What a lovely week, the children really enjoyed our cooking activity. They are  getting to know where everything is within the classroom. The children have really found the Yoga relaxing and enjoyed the challenge of listening to the Yoga stories and joining in.
Myself and Chloe are really enjoying getting to know the children and are looking forward to exciting time ahead, learning together.
This week we will be learning about Shapes and Colours. Our book for the week will be ‘Brown Bear, Brown Bear, what do you see?’ It is a lovely story which talks about all the different colours of many animals. We will also read about ‘Elmer’ as he is very multi coloured.
We will create some rainbow artwork together to help us to learn some colour names.

Jennie Jigsaw
This week we will start to learn about ‘Jennie Jigsaw’ we work through group times talking about our emotions and how to develop Personal, Emotional and Social Skills within out everyday life. We will be talking about how we are feeling today. What makes the children happy and not so settled.

Letters and Sounds
We will be continuing listening to the musical instruments to see is we know any of the names and can describe any of the sounds they make. We will also be seeing if we can play loud and soft using a signal.

Home Learning
Please can you continue to bring in a picture of a person or animal that is special to your child. We will start to make a display on our Jigsaw board. This always helps the children to feel reassured if they have a familiar picture that they can go and look at.
