Stickman

Image result for stickman story

Hello Everyone,

We had a lovely week talking about winter and what happens during this time.
The main views of the children was that it was going to be very cold and it might snow?!
The children also wanted to go out and experience what it was like to play in the rain.
This week we will be focusing on the story of ‘Stickman’ this book is a real favourite for the children and we will create our own stickmen during the week. It also has a lovely Christmas feel and a family theme which links in with Jennie Jigsaw.
We will start our Christmas crafts and be having lots of creative fun with the glitter over the coming weeks.

This week we will be continuing talk about our houses and where we live.
What is near by and how we get to places each day.

Letters and Sounds
This week we will play describe the animal from a group of animals to see if the children can identify the correct one from a group.

Home Learning
Please continue to add to the Wow board. If you could bring in any photos of your house so the children can share these during group times, that would be great.
Children are really growing in confidence which is great to see and are quite confident to speak out at group times in front of each other.
