Hello Everyone,

Last week we enjoyed making the ‘Stickman’ we also enjoyed watching the film and loved ‘Stickman’ coming home to the family tree.
We continued with our Christmas crafts and surprises to take home at the end of this week. Our independent Christmas activity ‘snowflakes’ went really well.  The group have loved singing Christmas songs before lunch and now know a good selection. If your child has any special Christmas stories then please do bring them in for us to share at story time. On Thursday morning we had a lovely singing time with the Opportunity group which was great.
Thank you to everyone that came to the Christmas breakfast it was lovely to see you all.
This week we will make shaving foam tress and trying to decorate them to look very festive!
We will continue to make our Christmas surprises to take home at your Childs last session of the year.

We will be talking about ways to solve problems without getting frustrated or upset with others. Helping  the children to set themselves little challenges to work through a task, rather than say they can’t do it.

Letters and Sounds
This week we will continue to describing the Christmas items laid out to see if the children can identify the correct one from a group. We will also get the children to describe it to others in the group if they are able to do this next step.

Home Learning
Some lovely Christmas family photos were brought in so please continue this. These may be photos of family members you don’t see very often.
We will discuss where we have been and what we have been doing at group times this week.

Christmas party this week please remember to sign up on the food list on the door by the coat hooks.
Friday remember packed lunches if you usually have a hot lunch.

Don't forget to bring in your child's WOW moments. We love to share and celebrate these with everyone. There are spare WOW's by the WOW board in the corridor.

On Thursday at 3.10pm we have got our story session. Please come and join us.

It was lovely to see some of you at Stay and Play on Wednesday. This week Stay and Play will be on Thursday 20th December  from 8.30-9.00am. Everyone is very welcome including younger and older siblings. Hope to see lots of you there.

Please remember to check your Child’s post pocket when you hang up coats in the mornings, all important post will be there.

Thank you for all the donations for the Christmas Fair on Friday. Lots of fun was had by all.

We would all like to Wish you a very very Christmas and a Happy New Year. It has been a fantastic term and we all look forward to the many adventures in learning next term.
