Hello Everyone,

We will continue with the ‘Stickman’ theme as we need to complete making our own little ‘stickman’ family. This will be a very creative activity and we hope to see lots of variations on the real ‘Stickman.’
We also hope to do some stickman painting this week.
We will continue with our Christmas crafts this week making Christmas cards. Our independent Christmas activity will be making snowflakes.  The group have loved singing Christmas songs before lunch and now know a good selection. In the role play area we will add a Christmas shop so the children can practice their wrapping up skills before helping you all at home!

This week we will be talking about challenging our learning and helping other if they need an extra pair of eyes.
We will be talking about ways to solve problems without getting frustrated or upset with others.

Letters and Sounds
This week we will be describing the Christmas items laid out to see if the children can identify the correct one from a group. We will also get the children to describe it to others in the group if they are able to do this next step.

We will discuss where we have been and what we have been doing at group times this week.

Story time on Friday evening was lovely and thank you for those families that managed to come. We will have another evening one in the New Year.
