Rainbow Fish

Image result for rainbow fish

Hello Everyone,

What a great first week back we had. We produced some lovely Christmas pictures for the wall. We also loved taking about all the different colours we could see on ‘Rainbow Fish’
We made a lovely fish picture to go on the display. The children also made little fish to go on the display by our fish tank. The fish are now returned having had a lovely Christmas with Chloe.
We will be continuing with ‘Rainbow Fish’ and the themes that run through the book,
being friends, colours, numbers and feelings through out the week.

We will be continuing talking about ways to challenge and never give up. We will be encouraging the children to keep trying even when they find something difficult.
Working together with another child to talk through things and see if they can come up with another solution to the problem. This has really been showing through. The new children have had a good leading hand from other children in the group which has been lovely to see.

Letters and Sounds
This week we will play roll the ball. This is a really fun game; the children roll the ball to another member of the group. Before they roll they have to say their name. This helps with the learning of our friend’s names. We will also recap who’s under the blanket. The children love this game but have found it quite a challenge.

Home Learning
Thank you for all the lovely Wow’s, it looks like you all had lots of amazing adventures.
The children have loved telling us about what they have been doing.

The new class friends this term have had a good first week and seem to be loving playing at Pre-School.
