Year 1
Hello Everyone,
We had a great time and took part in lots of fun activities. We enjoyed making Mooncakes, making a space rocket in the classroom/dresing up and going to the Moon. Playing with the Moon gloop and mark making a space adventure out in the garden. The children have had so much fun and really enjoyed learning lots of new vocabulary around the Moon as well as new facts.
This week we will be starting to look at Spring and we will be among some creations for the weekend!!

This week we will talk about ‘Our Feelings’ focusing on learning on sharing and group games.
Letters and Sounds
This week we will be playing and looking at percussion sounds. We will create these sounds from objects we find around the room. We will investigate if the children can listen and copy a rhythm back to us.
Notices
It was great to catch up with many of you at parents meetings at the end of last week. The children have settled so well and are making such great progress. If I have not met with you yet I hope to do this in the next couple of weeks.

Our next stay and play sesssion will be Tuesday 22nd March. Everyone is very welcome including younger and older siblings. Hope to see lots of you there.
