Year 1

Hello Everyone, 

We have had a really great week creating and working together to create our special gifts and cards for Sunday. We really hoped you all liked them and they grow really well. We have also been very interested in painting this week and making marks with all sorts of different materials. The children have been working really well together to talk through their ideas and what they are thinking about trying. 

This week we will be starting to learn all about Eater and we have some fun activities planned around this. 

Jennie Jigsaw

This week we will continue talking about  ‘Our Feelings’ focusing on learning on sharing and group games. Jennie the Jigsaw has been coming to our group times and talking to the children all about having kind hands and she talks to the children about the positive things she's been seeing during the day. (Jennie is a soft toy)

Letters and Sounds 

This week we will be listening to some different types of music and asking the children about how they make them feel. They will also be dancing and seeing if they recognize where the music is from.

Our next stay and play sesssion will be Thursday 31st March. Everyone is very welcome including younger and older siblings. Hope to see lots of you there.

POWSA Events coming up and notices

On Wednesday there is a POWSA meeting at 7.30pm in the main school hall. Everyone welcome to come along. If you would like any information, please do come and ask.
