Hello everyone......

Year 1

Hello Everyone,

We have had a very busy week and had lots of fun learning experiences.

The children have loved to watch the Butterfly’s as now they have hatched from their cocoons. This year we have mainly the same colour which the children have loved to talk about. We also had some fun with a colour focus and played some colour related games.

This week we are going to have a Maths focus so we will be playing lots of fun games through our learning this week. We have lots of fun and exciting activities planned.

Jennie Jigsaw

This week we will be continuing to  look at making friends and encouraging each other in all that we are doing. We will be encouraging the children to invite others into their play and how to start conversations and interactions in a small group.

Letters and Sounds

This week we will play a range of games using lots of objects in the room.

We will also play Teddy lost in the room which the children have really started to enjoy.

Notices

Please continue to apply sunscreen to your child before they arrive at Pre-School,  this has been an amazing help.

We will put out the suncream list and you can tick off your child’s name at drop off in the morning.

We are still a couple of  jumpers missing so please do have a look and check you have the correct ones at home. The missing ones are clearly named.

Year 1 will not be taking part in sports day this week. Next year they will have sports day as they will be having a regular PE lesson with Mr Trebble.

Stay and play is on Saturday 9th July from 10.00-11.30am. Everyone welcome.
