Year 1
Hello Everyone,
We had a lovely time this week and we have enjoyed lots of Maths focussed activities. We even did some bug counting out in the garden.
Counting of the children has really come on and they love taking turns to count out cups and plates when getting snack things together.
As it is going to be so hot this week we are going to be having a water focus with lots of counting, predictions and investigating planned. I am sure the children are going to love it!
Jennie Jigsaw
This week we will be introducing our new friend the ‘Beat baby’ to the group. He helps the children to explore their emotions and helps them to express themselves.
Letters and Sounds
This week we will play games with the tappy sticks. The children will be leading some of the games and be the leader through the activities.
Notices
Please continue to apply sunscreen to your child before they arrive at Pre-School, this has been an amazing help.
We will put out the suncream list and you can tick off your child’s name at drop off in the morning.
We will not be using the outside space if the weather is too warm.
We have found one of the missing jumpers.We are still missing a jumper and a tshirt that are both clearly named so please do have a look and check you have the correct ones at home. We have two jumpers at preschool. We will pop them outside the rail outside the classroom so you can see them when you come to collect your child.
Every Friday after school POWSA are selling ice lollies and choc ices in the main school playground. 50p each.
