Hello everyone....

Year 1

Hello Everyone,

We hope you have had a great weekend and seen some fireworks.

We will be making lots of creative things this week from the fireworks we have seen and the memory’s we have made.. If you would like to share any pictures of your fireworks or sparkler fun you can email us and we can share it at group times over the week. We have lots of fun activities to explore and we are going to be very creative and even make some things to eat!

We have enjoyed welcoming our new friends to the class and all the children have been very kind and caring and welcomed them into the play.

The children enjoyed talking about the punkins and creating pictures but they were not so keen to explore them in the texture tray.

This week we will be talking, continuing to talk about people in the class and playing games and helping to remember their names. We will also talk about things we can do to be kind and the kind of things we say and do to each other.

Notices

Stay and play morning sessions are now posted next to our door on the window. It would be great to see you. These run once a week on a different morning each week from 8.30am-9.00am. We also have one every half term on a Saturday. This week stay and play is on Wednesday morning at 8.30-9.00am.

We are a NUT FREE SCHOOL, so please can we remind our families that the children have no products containing nuts in their lunchbox.

If you could bring in your child’s birth certificate that would be great as we need proof of their birth dates in readiness for their funding eligibility. You can pop this to Caroline in the office or Zoe or Chloe will also sign the paperwork to say we have seen a copy when you drop off in the morning.

We will always ensure any letters are put in your child’s bag so please always have a look for any post.

Please send your photos to z.stockley@princeofwales.dorset.sch.uk and we will print them off for you. You have some half term pictures to send through to us.

Looking forward to a great week together.
